POLISH WAR DEMONS XPS

Welcome all,

I'd like to advertise my server (which I play on). Now this is the silent 0.5.1 and ET version 2.55+ (works on each ET version!). The server belong to ET funclub (NOT clan) called Polish War Demons - *PWD*. Entry is free for all. Server is placed in France. Most players are Polish, but we like foreign players and know english. If you want to join to funclub, you dont need very much. You must play for a while and set a good example. If you want to get higher level, you should be polite, active every day if possible and invite any new player to the server. Then you will get 1 level and more. You can be in any clan and in the funclub without any trouble.

We have nice Spar Team and we are also looking for good ETPro players.

Good luck with your server, kajto3 . Nice map pool you have too. A bit of advice? Disable double-jump on your server. Dispite the fact that you've banned trick-jumping you will still get the morons who will ignore the rules and trick-jump to win the map, especially on maps like Siwa Oasis. Disabling double-jump will save your Admins a whole load of grief in the future .

Only if they want to play the same boring maps over and over again. A 30MB download is nothing, we're living in the 21st century, Dragon .

heh we will not disable double jump (but we have command for admins to enable/disable dj) and we have control under 'morons' by a group of mature admins

and yeah 30mb is not much if this is cool stuff. i have seen servers with 300mb

I wasn't talking about maps, but about useless textures and replaced original sounds which is an useless thang too. And yeah, it's 21st century, but as it's a polish server, there will play mostly Poles and avg Internet connecton speed here is 1MB/s... Newbies are not patient at all so they won't connect to a server with such amount of addon packs. Ofc there are servers with more stuff to dl, but they were working for their reputation for years and that's why they're full most of the time (eg. Kernwaffe).

Sorry bro, I can't agree. We've changed textures, added sounds, customised all the player/command post/weapons/landmines skins and so on. It's a lot more fun fraggin' in that environment than it is fraggin' on a basic server that took under an hour to set up.

as a polish (french!) server there play many players of different nationalities and if we generally dont have lags (sometimes we have, unfortunately caused by ddos attacks) the server works perfectly, its strong server on ovh. and there are many player in pl with net speed over 1mb (eg me). but there is nothing to discuss, you have nice servers with many player, we have very cool server too :)

and yeah u dont know our whole protection :)
